Time flies when you are having fun….

Hello!

My time here in South Africa goes so fast, I have only 5 more weeks left.

In 5 weeks I will go back to my family in the Netherlands for two weeks, after that I will start my new adventure in Australia. I can’t believe it,  but I will leave the first of September again.

For the people who asked about me not posting pictures on FB, I will try to do it soon ;)

A few days ago I went to see a day care project. When we arrived we were welcomed with a music/dance act. I was so nice to see all these children showing off moves!

I realised how good the children at Tshepo Ya Bana have it. There are so much children who have almost nothing. It was good to see the totally different worlds. The children looked happy and the project really helps the children. They help with their home work, feed them and do nice activities with them.

Last Saturday I went to a sort of sports day with over a 100 children. It was a bit overwhelming but they had so much fun. You sometimes have to be careful with you approach to the little ones, because some of them have never seen a white person before. They will start crying and are really scared by you. It was nice to see the children dance and sing.

Yesterday Maartje came to visit me, I showed her the place and she met the children. After that we went to a lodge to do a game drive. It was our lucky day cause we saw the rhino’s from really close. We saw them in the Krugerpark too but they were hiding so we couldn’t take good pictures. Now they were visible.

I’m planning on doing a micro flight over the reserve on Thursday so hopefully I will be able to make some nice pictures from the sky.
